Back from Guangzhou
网友们好!
Yes, yes, yes! I just got back from Guangzhou. I had my interview at the U.S. Consulate in Guangzhou on Tuesday. Not knowing what to expect, I was quite nervous. I had heard many stories about people being rejected for all sorts of reasons. My interview was scheduled for 7:15 am. I got there at 6:30 thinking that I would get there early and be first in line. That's what I thought...ha ha ha...when I got there there were over 50 people already waiting. It started to rain and as expected people started to complain; at least the ones who didn't bring an umbrella. In the next 45 minutes the number of people waiting at least tripled. It was past 8:00 when they finally let us enter the building. There was a mad rush as people tried to be the first in line. After going through security and entering the consulate we found that our interviewer was assigned. It really didn't matter where we were in line. Well now I know and if you ever have to go there for an interview so do you. In line I was standing behind four women who had gotten married to Americans and were interviewing for their K-1 visa. They were all really excited that the day for their interview had finally arrived. They were also really worried because if they failed they would have to begin another more difficult process if they wanted to be with their husband. I heard there is a big problem with "fake marriages" by people who want to go to the USA. One of my American friends was emailed by someone on a dating web site asking him if he would be interested in getting paid for a "fake marriage". I guess it must be a good business. Anyway I was standing there by myself so it was hard not to hear their conversation. Six hours later I had my interview. I answered a few questions, sweated a little and passed. Yes I passed. Now I have a six months to go to the USA. I had 3 days before I could pick up my visa so I went to the wild animal park in Guangzhou. I was there many years ago for a competition. The animals won. Ha ha ha.

I hope it's worth the money...the facial...hope it works

What's up?
Today I went to my English class. It's always fun. I started taking classes there about two years ago, but I never finished. I have to earn money to survive so I am never able to attend my classes. This is the last course. I hope I can finish this time. My teacher's name is Michael. He is from the USA. He is very lively and doesn't like to follow the teaching materials. He likes to do his own thing. Although he doesn't use the course materials, he is very good at getting his students to talk. After class I got a facial with my cousin Tyra. She is an aspiring actress. She graduated from the Central Academy For Performing Arts two years ago. Zhang Ziyi also graduated from that school. She has been in some movies and television series. She is really cute. You can check her out on her blog. The address is below. Being an actress she gets weeks off at a time. Last April we went to Dalian. We stayed at a condo by the ocean. Dalian is a city in northern China. It is on a peninsula in the Bohai Sea, about an hour from Beijing. Unlike Beijing the air there is very clean. The seafood there is great.
Art...Art...Art
Good Morning:
Yesterday I went with my friend Tan to visit some contemporary artist's studios. I have been interested in art for some years. A number of well known contemporary Chinese artists live in Beijing. A few years ago I modeled for an artist in Changsha. He was know for painting women clothed in paper. Posing in paper wasn't much fun. I had to sit still. If I didn't the paper would fall off or wrinkle. Time goes by so quickly. It was in 2005 when he painted this. After visiting some studios, we had lunch and then went to the antique market Gu Wan Cheng.

Here we go!!!
你好!
Hi! My name is Jing. I am Chinese and I live in Beijing. I was born in the province of Hunan. I like to travel, go shopping, practice yoga, play piano, and eat. Where I come from the food is hot hot hot. I really like animals and have five fish and a dog named Chou Chou. She is a Golden Retriever. She just had a litter of eight puppies all of them jet black. Their dad is a German Shepherd. The puppies were so cute when they were little. They looked like little black bears.
